MBA Video Stutter?

I'm just wondering if anyone else's MBA is getting a stutter during the transition of a video from a small window into full screen?

I have a 13" i5

Do you have safari open? Look at how much ram it is taking in the activity monitor. Restart Safari regularly.

Only when using quicktime, no stutter with VLC or MplayerX/Mplayer OSX Extended

It does it on a fresh boot just checked

I meant to say when using quicktime, I don't have safari open and I was trying to watch a .mp4 movie saved onto a external HDD. During the 1.5 second transistion between the small window to full screen it seems sluggish
