MBA Wireless Question

Hello, I'm thinking about getting a macbook air. I have a Dell PC right now so it would be my second computer but my first mac in awhile. I have a Linksys A+G router but not sure how the air would work with that. I don't really know much about wireless stuff such as all the letters, a,g,b,n and so on. Another question.... how would I be able to get some files such as iTunes on my air from my PC.. i have of the migration assistant but not sure what it's all about. Thanks for your help
 
It should work it works on my Netgear router but the speed i get is a bit slow...

BTW i surf the net only my wifi is unprotected
