I'm new here and hope I am posting this in the right section ?
I have a Mac Book Air I bought 45 days ago.
It was set up and partitioned by the store with Windows 7 Ultimate and Boot Camp without Parallels.
Now i have really been enjoying it up until now.
I can't access the Mac OS and the Apple Store says the hard drive is gone.
I can still start the Windows side and everything works as well as when new,
What I don't understand is if the hard drive is bad why does the Windows half work ?
They have ordered a new hard drive and it will be here in a couple of days.
They have done a diagnostic and say the Mac OS doesn't show.
How can that be when it is the parent program ?

Here's my dilemma.
Is there anyway to save my Data from the Mac side ?
Any Ideas ?

Sounds like when you installed win7 you over wrote OSX. I'd back up your win7 partition, at the very least your data. Then reformat/reinstall OSX, run bootcamp to repartition the drive and then reinstall win7 (on the bootcamp partition). Finally then restore your data.
