MBA worries

So I was pretty much set on getting the 13" MBA until I noticed that a lot of the recent threads in the MBA forum are about issues with the computer - freezing, heating, and people returning the computer. Should this make me hesitate? Even though I prefer the tech specs of the 13" MBA, I feel like I should go with the 13" MBP to avoid these potential issues (especially since I won't get AppleCare right away).

No, I wouldn't worry about it. These forums and the internet in general have a strong selection bias in that people with problems are more likely to be the ones commenting. Let's put it this way: if your laptop was perfect would you post on a message board to say that you haven't had any problems?

Get the MacBook Air.
