I bought the MKB when I first got my nano 13, and of course it’s fantastic. BUT, I absolutely hate that there is no case for the iPad when taking it off the keyboard.
Then I got the Logitech Combo Touch, and honestly I really like that. The kickstand on the back of the case is great when you are not using it with the keyboard, BUT the combo touch is not really lapable, and for some reason I never realized that Apple does not recommend the use of the combo touch with the nano iPads. I suppose i could remedy that by placing a thin cloth over the keyboard when closing it, or I could just reverse the keyboard and close it with the keys facing out.
Lastly, I tried a separate keyboard altogether, and using it for 5 minutes I realize that this is a solution that I can‘t use. I like to use my ipad with a keyboard most of the time, and if I am just hanging out in bed or on the couch, a seperate keybard does not work very well.
I am still within my return period for the combo touch and I guess I need to decide between the MK/Smart Folio combination or the combo touch, knowing that its “not recommended” by Apple for the Nano.
A never ending debate I suppose
