I just got the UB of Final Cut Express (wow is all I can say... very nice upgrade Apple!) and I was wondering if there was anyway to make Soundtrack work with my Mbox. Apparently digidesign has not/is not releasing the digi coreaudio manager for intel... so my options are severely limited. Ideas? Will Soundtrack (not pro) even do multitrack?

ciao

Given that the 7.1.1 UB upgrade to Protools LE is now available, I'm guessing that the coreaudio driver has also been updated.

I would expect that you'd need to install 7.1.1 on your machine to get it though, as it isn't available as a separate download yet.

Soundtrack will do multiple inputs, but you need the inputs on your interface, M-box only gas 4 simultaneous inputs (2 analog, 2 digi).

Yeah I figured that... unfortunately it wants a valid license key to even d/l and all I have is the stupid update CD.... grrrrr.
