I just put 4Gig of memory and a 500GB HD in my new 13" MBP 2.26. Should I keep my old memory and HD in case I have to take the MBP into Apple for warranty repair (for something other than memory and HD obviously)?

The old memory is likely nearly worthless, but the HD woiuld probably fetch the $50 I spent on the new 500GB HD.

When I upgrade, I keep everything. In fact, I loaded the original factory install on the old HD before removing it (I backed up elsewhere first). Now, if something happens, I can just put the original drive back in and let Apple fix it. No worries about data or anything.
