mbp 13 2.7 not charging at all

just started happening like an hour ago, i plug in the magsafe power adapter and no sign of charging (no green/orange light) comes up. i have 110 loadcycles and its at 89% battery capacity
also, like half an hour ago it started charging for like 8 minutes(i was just browsing internet i think) then it died off again (stopped charging)
what could it be?
