MBP 13" 2017 & Apple XDR display

Hi everyone

I was wondering what would happen if I connected my MBP 13" 2017 through the Thunderbolt 3 port with an Apple XDR display without additional equipment.

Would it show anything? Or would there be a black a border? Or would it be blurry because of the non supported 6k resolution?

Pretty sure people have tried it with other unsupported Macs (such as the 12” MacBook and iMac Pro), and it does output but only at 5K.
