MBP 13" 2017 heating/warming up while using Photoshop. Normal?

My new MBP 13" 2017 heats/warms up when I am using Photoshop - just very basic stuff like removing an image's background. I don't think that is a very resource intensive task. My 6-year-old HP Probook i5 never heated up while I was working on PS. Is this completely normal behavior for 13" 2017?
