¡Hi! I've just received muy new MBP 13 2018 today (i7/16Gb/512Gb SSD) and i'm very happy with the perfomance but i have a problem with video when i'm connected to an external display. When i put a youtube video or a Twich stream, fans come super louder and all the whole system starts to freeze and i have to close the browser. It happens even when I put the display at 1080p. When i'm not connected to the display it just woks perfect.

Any idea why is this happening? I'm a bit dissapointed because i spent some time watching videos online and this perfomance is worse than my previous macbook air with an external display :(

I can't find any explanation; it can run 1080p content if its a .mkv file easily, but when it's Youtube/Twich it's a mess.

Maybe it's cuz you're using Chrome, which is one of the worse browsers nowadays.

I never use Chrome, it's happening on Safari and Firefox

EDIT: Well, it seems to be solved. If anyone has the same problem, it's about temperatures. The problem only appears when the MBP is connected to an external display and it's closed. Temperatures begin to get crazy and the OS crashes. A reinstallation seems to fix the problem, anyway i'll be looking over it and updating this thread with any update.
