on my latest trip, instead of taking my camera bag(domke F2) and separate laptop bag(incase neoprene sleeve 15 with handles) I managed to put them all in a backpack. the fit was snug, not too snug. laptop was placed inside sleeve inside the bag.
while getting out of the rental car shuttle to the airport. the velcro on the backpack strap loosened, and the backpack fell about 3 feet downwards.
I was running behind to catch the flight to open and look right away. when i removed the sleeve for security i peeked inside and it looked ok exterior wise.
It wasnt untill i returned home and opened it that i noticed the top left hinge area was bent. I think its because of the incase sleeve zippers that went into the laptop. the screen appears to be fine. it does make a scraping sound when opening it. so i havent opened it really in a day
Ive placed a screen cleaning cloth inbetween the hinge so it wont damage the unibody area. Is there something to bend the top back? god knows how much apple will charge for a new cover, I dont need a new LCD.
