MBP 13" - good enough in 2550x1440?

I'm thinking about buying the low end 13". I'm also looking to buy a 27" - either Dell, ACD or wait for samsungs new panels.

The thing is i'm worried about if the 13" MBP is strong enough for the 2550x1440 display - i'm mainly going to watch movies and browse internet.

Sounds great! I'm not very good with the technical stuff, so what kind of things use the GPU? Movies, games, excel, youtube?

You won't do any gaming but it should be fine for excel youtube, movies ect.

Mainly games, video editing, animation and stuff like that. GPUs can be used to hardware accelerate e.g. video nowadays though but the CPU does most of that though.
