MBP 13-inch Noisier than Previous Version

I just got the new basic model of the MacBook Pro 13-inch and it seems be make more noise than the previous one.

The fan is running at around 2000rpm - I know this is normal, but it seems to be noisier.

Anyone else found this? Or is there something wrong with mine?

I have last years 13" MBP and its dead quiet. My previous 2008 15" was also fairly quiet until it got hot.

Current i5 15" has a noticeable non-stop whisper which can get distracting in a quiet room.

I found it noisier because the hard drive has a constant whirring sound

My 2010 13" MBP is VERY quiet.

The only time I hear mine is when I first boot and there is a whirring noise from the superdrive. Other than that, very quiet.
