Hello,

I recently ordered a MBP 13 with 8gb of RAM. I've changed my mind and figured i wont need 8gb of ram. Is it possible for me to go to a apple retail store and exchange the 8gb of ram for 4gb of ram instead? Note i ordered my MBP 13 online.

thanks

If you haven't received it yet and it hasn't gone into "Prepared for Shipping" status as of yet you will have to call Apple customer service and they will have to change your CTO order. If it's already prepared for shipping or it has shipped you will have to wait until you received it before calling Apple. They may not take it back because it's a CTO item and you can not take the ram back to the Apple retail store, they won't take it back.

I agree. Try to see if you can cancel the order and place it again...it's a lot of money
