Is it worth it? I've read people say that the 0.2ghz increase is not, but is there really nothing else added to these new MBP versions other than 8GB being standard and the 0.2ghz boost?? nothing at all was upgraded within the computer? seems odd..

Anyway, I went wit hthe MBP 2.4ghz/8/256gb, hope I made the right decision because I feel the extra SSD space is worth way more than the 0.2ghz. Thoughts?

Agreed, and I would do the same. There is really nothing worth getting a 2014 version. I myself am going to get the exact same one you did during my state's tax free weekend in 2 days!

You made the right choice. You are also correct in those being the only changes. When they updated the Air line in April, they bumped it .01ghz. That's it....

The difference in speed between the 256GB SSD and 128GB SSD is probably more noticeable than the difference between the 2.4GHz and 2.6GHz processors.

You bought the right computer.
