Hey,

I plan on purchasing a MBP 13", and I was hoping that somebody could help me out with a few things before I purchase. I currently have my eye on the baseline 13". The only other two options I would consider would be the baseline but upgraded to 8 GB RAM, or the high end 13" with the i7 and increased storage space.

I have already searched through previous threads, but have found conflicting answers. So my question is, what kind of improvement would I be looking at between the baseline 13", baseline 13" upgraded to 8GB RAM, and the high end 13". Which do you all consider the best deal for the money?

Thanks everyone in advance.

Depends on what you are going to do with it. RAM and HD can be upgraded in the future but the CPU cannot. However, if you got to ask, then it sounds like you are going to be fine with the base 13" MBP. RAM you can add from aftermarket if needed. If you really want something great, get the 128GB SSD from Apple.
