Hi,

I have a MBP 13inch 2010 with 4GB Ram (1067Mhz DDR3) and I would like to upgrade it to 8GB Ram but just if it worths it.

Does anyone do this with a MBP 2010?

Open activity monitor after a few days of use. Check your page-outs. If the number is high (several hundred MB or more) then you'll likely benefit a bit from more RAM.

I have 8GB and use the computer mostly for web browsing, video encoding and some other desk work. I occasionally run windows 7 in a virtual machine. With 8GB of RAM, I generally hover around 2-3GB free.

Good suggestion. I think I will need more RAM. Activity monitor shows me 350MB free and I have opened all the apps I use frequently.

I think I will purchase these memory cards: Kingston 2x4GB

I'm not sure how to know if I'm using 204pin.

Best regards,
