Will try to keep this brief. I get a lot of strain on my eyes and headaches changing screens. I am used to of HP Probook 15.6" inch screen with 1366x768 resolution. Now I just got a MBP 13" 2017 and I am not at all comfortable with it because the font/text size is too small (currently at 1280x800 resolution). I can return it and spend more to get the 15" MBP 2017. Will I be able to use 1366x768 resolution on it? And once I set that resolution, will the size of everything (fonts/texts/icons etc.) look the same as it does on my HP?

You can put the 15" at 1280x800, which would be very similar.

1280x800 on MBP 13" makes the text too small for me. Are you saying the same resolution on the 15" will have bigger text - closer to the size I have on my HP 1366x768?

Yes. 1280x800 on the 15" will show exactly the same content as 1280x800 on the 13", except it will of course be 15" large instead of 13" large, and therefore everything will be bigger.
