MBP 15" 2.8GHz Heat?

Hi.

I just took home a MBP from the local Apple Store.

Is it normal for the palm rest area, mainly the portion under the control/option/command button to turn warm? I have used many MBPs at my office, and they seem to be very cool.

It is a TAD uncomfortable to rest my wrist on it, unsure if it is common problem or if it is acceptable.

Currently just surfing, and emailing. Using 9400M.

I have the same problem.......let's hear from some of the other uMBP owners.

ive had a 15" uMBP for about a year now and I would say thats pretty normal from my exp. Although it never becomes what I would call uncomfortable.

I also use SMCFanControl and make sure my cpu never goes above high 60's, in fact its generally mid 50's.
