Hi! I'm thinking about buying a 16" MBP. I've had several Apple laptops and my current one is 15" 2017 (quad core 2.9GHz, Radeon 560). While I wouldn't mind a boost in performance, but that alone won't tip the scales just yet. The only thing that I absolutely and wholeheartedly dislike is the ****** keyboard. Some keys have rare random annoying glitches. Caps Lock key, however, has been half broken from the start. The Esc key on the Touch Bar is also not convenient at all. I do appreciate, however, a somewhat lower weight and thermals/fan seems to be ok.
Is there anything that worsened in the 2019 model comparing to the 2017 one? Heat issues? Fan became noisier for no reason?

Nope.

My previous laptop was the 2016 15"
The keyboard is different, I used to like the butterfly mechanism but I eventually run into problems (thankfully I was able to clean out the dust and it kept working) and the new one is similar to the Bluetooth keyboard I use with my Mac Mini, so I'd say it is better, as I can get used to the same key travel and response.
I can hear the fans more than in the past, my 2016 was the base model while this time I went for the higher configuration with the i9 and 8 cores. I don't mind hearing the fans, they're not too noisy.
Speakers are better, so is the mic.
