Hi,

So one out of the 4 ports on my MBP 2018 seems loose. I can easily plug and remove it without a trouble, and there is no "click sound" feedback when plugged in. On the other hand, the other 3 ports give a "click sound" feedback when plugged in, and they are all really tight....I have to hold down my laptop before I can remove the cable. The loose port seems work properly though, I am just wandering if it's going to cause any major problem in the future? Or it's just a common thing?

I don't think it can cause any issues, it seems to just be a variation of the body finish around the ports (which is annoying as you'd like it to be consistent, but it's not functionally limiting). I have seen other users report either loose or stiff ports compared to their 2016/17 models too, so it seems to be a minor manufacturing defect.

I don't think its common, and if it were me, I'd take it back for an exchange. You paid a lot of money for the laptop, why accept a defect
Exactly. Even if I caused the issue I would have returned to the store.

Thanks for the input everyone. I called Apple and they sending me a replacement. Hopefully that one have no problem...
