I've had a MacBook Pro 2019 (15") since October 2019.

Yesterday I unplugged it, worked on it on battery for a while, and plugged it back in. I didn't hear the 'chime' I normally do, so looked closer.

It wasn't charging.

I've tried all four USB-C ports, bought a new power adapter and USB-C charging cable (both Apple products), tried both adapters and cables with each other, and no success.

I've reset the SMC and NVRAM, then spent an hour with Apple technical support doing the same.

Because it's out of warranty by 4 months, to get it fixed, Apple have quoted me £675 and a turn around time of 2 weeks+. I can't afford to be without my computer for that long, I'm at the end of a big development project, and my company aren't very happy at the idea of spending another £3k on a new computer I've only had for 16 months.

I'm posting here to ask whether anything knows of an issue with the MBP like this, and if there's anything more I can do to get it working?
