MBP 15" case questions?

Hello

I have a MPB 15" however, I have always kept it in the box it came with, but now its falling apart and need to get a case, or a bag.

I have no idea on what case I should get.

Where do I find the serial numbers?

Buy one of those Speck.
About serial number of your macbook, take a look at the bottom. Or you can just click the apple logo in OS X, choose about this MAC -> More Info.

I see the serial number now, its very small.

I bought a rucksack type laptop bag from WH Smiths it is made by the company who make swiss army knives for 60 quid, it is amazing quality, and holds my MBP very securely, with lots of room for other stuff.
