Just bought a MBP 15". I had a 2009 Macbook unibody. And it's in good condition. Just has a bunch of tiny scratches that really show in the light.

Does that happen on the MBP? And if so any good casings to restrict that?
I think my buddy has a rubbery type full case on his. Never actually felt it or used it.

Any suggestions be great.
Thanks.

I had the 2009 MB about six months and I did see a few minor scratchs beginning. I now have a 15" MBP and so far no scratches. I used iKlear kit (microfiber cloth and spray bottle) to keep it clean - both the aluminum case and the screen. I also keep it in a iCase bag when I travel.

No scratched but my MBP did put a deep knick in the center of my $1,000+ external monitor :( Of course aluminum is a soft metal so one must always be careful what it comes in contact with. In time it will scratch

Scratches are just a fact of life on Aluminum. Covering them up doesn't solve anything since it completely changes the look of the computer. Just get into acceptance.. your MBP is scratched, and that' the way it is.
