Hi guys,

I just bought the new MBP 15" a few months ago and everything has been working out fine up until yesterday. When I opened my laptop from sleep mode, the screens suddenly had these weird grey lines:

So far I have tried rebooting, doing a system reset, and plugging into an external monitor. Nothing seems to be working. I'm afraid it's a hardware issue, because when booting up the Apple logo also has the stripes over it.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I really don't want to take it to the store as I need it on a daily basis.

Thank you very much in advance!

Well there's not much you can do since it has to do with the display! Something might be wrong with the pixels, specially since you can see it on the boot screen! Take it to apple and have them fix it before your warranty gets void. It's better to be without a computer for couple of days than to have a dead screen after your warranty is void.

Looks like the screen is damaged. Did you sit on it or use it as a baseball bat or something?
