MBP 15 i7 noise with firewire audio interface

Hi
My MBP is recording a terrible noise (a loud buzz) when using any firewire audio interface. I have tried M-Audio 410, Ozonic and Profire.

I have used these audio interfaces with previous models of MBP and have not had this problem. I do not have this problem with my iMac Core 2 Duo, however it is not usually practical for me to record with the iMac.

I have AppleCare and returned it to Apple - they replaced the logic board. I still have the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am tearing my hair out

I just posted about something like this too, with no replies as of yet, mine gets a slight buzzing noise when I have my headphones plugged into the audio jack, playing videos etc, but it seems to do this when my external hard drives are on.

i tried turning off wifi but it did not help. any other suggestions would be much appreciated
