MBP 15 inch boot camp help

Hello, I have a MBP coreduo, bought about a month ago, i need to install windows on it with bootcamp, but i seem to have a problem.
the bootcamp asistant tells me my firmware need upgrading, so i go to apple site, and it seems that my firmware is the latest version. i try the frmware smc updater in application/utilities, and nothing.. redownload the smc uptate frfrom apples site, and it tells me my computer has the latest firware....


can anyone help me with this..
