A few weeks ago my dell inspiron 9300 crashed... and thus i decided to get me a macbook pro. I was mainly attracted by the software and the (promised) quality of design and build.
Having worked on the macbook pro for a month, i can tell that i'm very pleased with the software.... BUT...I'm dissapointed in the screen quality.
I've bought a march 09 version with 2.66 because it had more video ram.
.. but.. i got the dreaded 9C84 screen.
The colors are not as good as the other screens and at a low brightness u can notice a very weak flickering.
So i went to the store (a premium resell store in Belgium) and showed them a few website where the flickering was clearly visible.
The employee claimed that it was a mistake in the website... yeah right.
I think i'm gonna wait and see if the problem get's worse or try to find better ways to make this problem visible.

This is a site which is used to test lcd-screens. If one of the boxes flicker than there is something wrong with the voltage supply in your screen.
In my case the boxes 4a and 4b flicker.
Does this also happen with your screens?
And does anybody know about a better way to prove it?
