Like the title says, when my MB is closed, the black plastic across the back can be pushed in and if I hold my hand around that side when carrying it It feelsl ike I am going to break it.

Felt my friends 13" and it was perfect solid.

Has it always been like that, because my 13" isn't like that. Looks like somethings broken under it or if its always been like that it might be a fault when it was built.

Hm, does it seem like something that can be fixed under warranty? Im not sure if it was like that when i bought it, but I noticed it about a month after purchase.

Also, the screen creaks sometimes when I open it.

Might be a problem with the hinge. Go to the Apple store and see what they say. It may be covered.
