Hey all, I have an odd issue which I believe is my screen but would love some input!

So when I updated to Mountain my screen began to flicker to yellow depending on how the screen is positioned. It flickers to yellow and back to the original white.

Im thinking it was coincidence, Mountain wouldnt have ruined my screen right? Could this be my graphics car, the same thing happened on my old MbP so I bought this one and took the old one to apple where they replaced the ruined graphics card (nvidia)

help would be great

It could be failing hardware, although I haven't seen this problem before. It's not like the gradual yellowing that was common with aging ccfl backlights with very high hours. GPU problems are usually artifacts. The 9400m didn't have any specific card failure issues like the older ones. Logic boards can still die though.

I was afraid it was the logic board - I recently replaced the failing harddrive to SSD.

Do you think Apple would charge through the roof to fix this?
