I have the battery symbol with the black cross.
I might have ruined some components myself.
In an attempt to discharge the board I shorted the onboard battery connector pins.
I found discharging the caps into pin 4 (I believe 1 2 & 3 are +10.95V) was a very bad idea.
Am I able to repair this? Is it fused in some way?
Tips are very welcome.

The MacBook still boots with the power supply connected but is in PowerSafe mode and slow as hell.

@UndercoverDotNetGuy Those video's are great and gave me a few hints on where to start.
Best case I just blew a fuse or a pull-up resistor, worse case the SMC chip...
Will investigate more as soon I have some time.

More tips welcome, keep it coming.
