My BF edits videos we make like YouTube type of small clips with high def.
Yet he uses PC :( Now I'd like to edit them by myself on a new Mac.
For occasional portability, I'd like to get 15' MBP.

Question is Mid or high end?

My use for this particular MBP is for:

Video & Photo Editing - using software such as CS 4 or possibly CS5 64bit as well as Final cut Pro

We do take High definition video to edit and make DVD's (eventually Blue-ray)

I have a couple of month to save money for this new Mac.

Does current MBP mid range will be enough to do what I'd like to do?
Or long term investment (hopefully last 3 or 4 years ) to get high end?

Any technical advise as to which one should I get?

Thanks for your help/advise in advance!
