Hi, I understand that there is a 15" Macbook Pro (2011) model that can be up-scaled into a hi-resolution glossy screen where the resolution will be larger than the normal glossy screen one...does anyone know the model number for that one?, I cannot seem to find a way to identify it.

Thanks, I don't want to make any mistakes when making my purchase in 01/12

To find the model number for any current Mac, go to the Apple Store and add that model to your shopping cart. Then when you view the cart, the model number is displayed, like this:

Okay I will try the shopping cart thing...I did not catch the model number in the preview way.
That's actually the part number, but should be sufficient to accurately identify the particular model you want. If you're ordering it online, you don't have to worry about what model or part number it is. Just make sure you select the model and options you want, and you'll get exactly what you order.
