folks, I currently have the Macbook - 13" (black one) and find it too small. I believe I will be happy with the 17" but again need some advise on whether it is worth the investment for atleast 4 yrs+ or so from now. Please advise. I also would want to know the difference between 15" and 17" besides the size of the screen & weight. My friends keep saying 15" is enough but is there anything in the 17" that I can use to justify to myself that 17" is better? hope you understand. Yes, I do plan to carry it to uni every day for the next 7 months but after that it will be stable, so me looking at long term. I reckon 17" is a better option. is it really heavy compared to the 15"?

Cheers :D

Either will last you at least four years. No worries there. Great machines.

The screen on the 17" is delicious if you don't mind carrying the extra size around with you. Go to the Apple Store, or your local Apple reseller, and check them out. Also check out matte versus glossy displays so you get the screen that you really want.
