MBP 15 OSX w/parallels 6 and Win XP HE

Does anyone have experience with upgrading XP Home Edition to Win 7 running on Parallels? Can it be done? Any potential issues? I tried running the Windows 7 Update Advisor but it doesn't seem to know what to do with the virtual elements. Thanks -
