Hello,

Maybe you Mac Genius can answer me this...

I have a current gen MBP Retina 15' with 16gb ram and 768gb SSD. When I run VMWare Fusion (my windows 8 development VM) It is FREEZING like crazy!!! It shouldn't be doing this. I have restored the MBP and reinstalled VMWare Fusion (latest updates installed. 5.0.3) and still it freezes like no tomorrow. It will freeze when I do anything in the VM (such as do a build in Visual Studio). It will freeze and it takes like 30 - 45 seconds to recover and it will go and then freeze again.

This is the settings I have for the VM...

Processors: 2 processor cores
Memory: 4096mb (4gb of ram)

I have 16gb on this machine with a 768gb SSD.

What do you think would cause this...

Thanks

Wow that isn't good I would make an appointment with Apple to have it checked out. It sounds like either bad RAM or bad hard drive sector which is kind of odd since its a flash drive.
