Hi, my laptop had been dead silent for a few days but suddenly noisy fan kicked in. Here is the top few tasks from activity monitor. Is there anything that can be done? Do MBP 16" 2021 have such strange noisy fan issue?

kenel_task 21.2-29.9%
WindowsServer 11.2-15.5%

I've had my 16" M1 Pro for 8 days. Fans haven't kicked in once and the computer hasn't even been warm.

I am having the exact same issue - but only with the MacRumors Forums page (see attachment)
Safari uses 100% of the CPU power.

When I open the page in Chrome, the usage is much less. The Chrome task manager tells me that a subframe of macrumors.com is using up to 10% from "https://2mdn.net"

On Safari I cannot get this detailed view unfortunately. Up until a few days ago, I could scroll the Forums on Safari for hours without any problems or fans spinning up. Really bothers me.

Yes, mine too. My 2019 16" will go through periods of random fan noise ramped up by certain websites, including MacRumors. I don't know why. MacRumors in Safari makes my iPhone 13 Pro hot. Others here have said the same thing. Any idea why that is, @arn? To @hajime: The new MacBook Pros run cool as a cucumber & fan noise is non-existent while on the web.

Shot from my 2021 16" Activity monitor shows high CPU usage for this site but it's still cool & no fan noise.
