It is a 2019 model, one of the first MBP 16" made (2019-10-07), bought new in May 2020. Could anyone comment on the battery's 'design capacity', which has always been low-90s% since new? Initially, I ran it on battery between 40% and 80% of full charge, but now leave power plugged in all the time. Should I be sufficiently concerned to take it to my Apple Store for assessment? I know they guarantee batteries to still hold 80% after 3 years ... but it's heading that way. I have a feeling the battery may have been sub-standard from new, not helped by lying unused for 7 months before sale, a point I could make to the Genius Bar. Thanks.

MBP 16 bought late May
123 cycles
91% life.
If the battery preservation setting is selected, it does this. if I turn it off, it goes up a few points over a couple charges. You can probably turn this off if you use battery often. people who have the Mac plugged in should allow the battery life to adjust this way to preserve the battery from swelling.

I would worry about the percentages jumping around and going low 90s first year. My other Mac had 770 cycles over 3 years and at the end would hop around between 78%-84% but then stayed at 82%.
