My wife and I both have Macbook Pro 16s, different trims. We are both still running Catalina. When sitting approximately 10 feet apart, and both of us are line of sight to the access point, my mac will frequently drop wifi. The connection bars disappear and I'm disassociated from the AP. It will try to automatically reconnect. That usually fails. I can usually manually reconnect to the 2.4ghz or 5ghz version of mt network (whichever one I was not previously connected to), and then it's fine for many hours. Alternatively, I just toggle the MBP's wifi to off, turn it back on, and it will reconnect fine. My wife's mbp never drops wifi, while mine drops probably on average once or twice a day.

We have an assortment of iphones, ipads, laptops, IoT devices, etc., and my laptop is the only one that seems to drop, ever.

Any suggestions for what to do?
