I have an IPP 12.9 2020 and purchased a MBP 16-- I know you shouldn't compare screens side by side but I want to make sure I don't have an overly green/yellow display with the MBP considering its price.

to me, the MBP looks more yellow/green - am I seeing things? True Tone is off and color temp is 6500k

The seeming slight differences in brightness make it hard to tell, but there seems to a slight color difference. NotebookCheck said the one they reviewed needed a little calibration, and then it was very accurate.

When you do color calibration, the first step is to adjust brightness to a prset value, e.g. 120 nits, using the colorimeter.

To compare color calibration you should set brightness to the same and correct value.
