MBP 16 - Headphone Jack is great?

Hi
I’ve the MBP w. TB from 2016.
Compared to my iPad or my iPhone with the dongle to use my headphones, I think that the 2016 MacBook has a way better output than the iPhone, iPad or older Macs?

Do anyone knows if it is software based or it has some specific features for it?
