Hi,

I'm using my MacBook Pro 16" most of the time as a desktop with two external 4K monitors in clamshell mode.
But I'm wondering If that's good for the MacBook.

I should probably use it once a week in battery mode, to keep the batter in good condition.

But do I have to worry about something else?

I would worry about heat. Portables generally exhaust at least some heat through the top case and/or keyboard. I'd always run my machine with the lid open whether I'm using the screen or not.

I do this all the time. It’s fine. I would maybe consider getting a stand, but it’s not a huge deal.
Maybe periodically run it on battery and open the lid to make sure the computer is clean.
