Hi all, I have an MBP 16" Pro M4 14/20 core with 24gb I bought couple days ago. Between work I tried running Crossover and some native games to see the power of the gpu. I wasn't expecting a lot but I found the FPS pretty low compared to what people were showing online. I decided to run Geekbench 6.5 and have a a metal score of 88k, the single and multi core scores of the cpu are on par with others, but the gpu Metal score is around 20% below others. I have everything off, no login items and power on High Power connected the original power supply. Im on Tahoe 26.3. What am I missing?

There's an option inside the Settings app that allows the Mac to go into High Power mode. Maybe that influences it.

*EDIT: I just realised you mentioned High Power mode in your post, so that can't be it then.

Yeah not thats not it sorry. What I dont get is why the laptop doesn't get hot or why the fans dont seem to ramp up at all during a benchmark

I am pretty sure Tahoe 26.3 has performance regressions versus 26.2. At least that seems to be the common complaint on MacGames Reddit.
