Hey all. I have a question regarding the GPU switching, except through Windows 7. I have Windows 7 on here because I game every now and then on my MBP.

How does Windows 7 deal with the two graphics cards on the MBPs?

Is the 9400 the default or is the 9600 default? If the 9400 is default, does it automatically switch to 9600 under load, and if not is there a way I can switch to the 9600 like in OSX? Or is there a way I can find out which of the GPUs is running?

Also, does the setup count as SLi? I ask because I want to know if there's a difference if I enable SLi optimization when I play Call of Duty WaW (which runs beautifully on this beast).

Your help = awesome. Thanks guys!

I believe, at least I read on here that Windows uses only the higher end graphics card and no option to switch.

At least that was with previous versions of Windows .... I doubt Win7 is any different.

AFAIK, there is no GPU switching available in windows. You're stuck with the 9600 which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your needs :)

For my, in ubuntu, its stuck on the 9600m
