Hi,

Does anyone have experience with using the said SSD in a MBP 17" released in 2008 end/2009 early. The model is in my signature.

The plextor is a Sata III 6gb , I am not sure if my MBP can handle that !

Thanks

Preetinder

Nope, a SATAIII SSD will be a waste of money because your macbook is only capable of running SATAII. Only the newest iteration of MBPs are SATAIII. So save a few bucks and find a good SATAII SSD. It really won't feel any slower than a SATAIII and is definitely a hugely worthwhile upgrade.

Thanks

Thanks Bozzz, It saves me money on something I couldn't use. Much appreciated.
