Hey guys,

My MBP has been acting up lately (overheating and freezing on me too often to deal with), so i figured since the service coverage ended almost 2 years ago I might as well open it up and get the dust out, in an attempt to help it run a little cooler.

So i managed to get it open and sprayed it out with some Duster, put it back together and discovered my backlight on my screen is no longer functioning...
I can still make out the faint image, and i can still use it by plugging into a monitor or TV.

My question is, is it possible that I simply blew something loose in the process?, or is it more likely that i Dusted my screen to death?

Thanks for any advice on the matter in advance!
