MBP 17" Battery

I read some where on this forum that apple calibrates batteries? So mostly comes with 1-2 cyles. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My new 17" has this ..

Should I calibrate it even the manual doesn't specify??

Usually you don't need to calibrate the battery until you are having issues of some sort (unnaturally short charge life, incorrect reporting of charge, et cetera). If the battery is performing as expected, don't bother calibrating it. It won't accomplish anything except using some of your time. Though, if you are really bored...
