It's only just happened in the last year, my rather old classic 17" MBP (circa 2008 release, first MBP 17" with SSD model) has developed a habit of the wireless dying after an hour or two of use, or when the machine is charging - I think its due to the machine heating up.

When I'm not charging and running off battery, if I shutdown and restart the wireless works again, but only for an hour or two.

Any ideas what's causing this? a failing wireless component?

Ok, I'll give it a try.

Is this prone to affecting my Wireless if turned on, is this a common thing?
