My MBP 17 2008 stopped working, i turned it on and i get dongle sound and folder that blinks. I replace ram, reset MBP and use disk wich had instaled lion os on from other same working model of mbp 17 and it does not work. Whe i turned it on i get mac logo, and runing circle wich indicates loading and the freezes every thing, and if i try to start it from instalnation cd i get the same mac logo and loading circle wich freezes after few seconds.

So it is posible that is something wrong with motherboard although the on mac web site it sad that this krnel panic doesnt have anything with mac itself??
I also read something with network packages and so.

Does anybody have any clue what is wrong and if is something wit motherboard?

you could try using apple hardware test which can be found on one of the supplied discs.
Is it possible for you to try booting up from a working disc with osx on it?
Try checking if you ram is properly seated alternatively trying using one ram at a time.
